Need some info on RSP type seatposts like those on the new BMC road bikes.
Am I right in thinking they are like an adapter so you can fit round type posts into a square/rectangular type tube.
Are thete any pitfalls?
Anyway all a bit confusing between ISP, proprietary and RSP seat posts.
Thanks.

I thought they were for when you had cut an ISP and then needed more length or whatever for some reason (selling, getting taller...)... or something like that

Maybe you are right. Wonder why they would stick these seatposts in as standard for the bmc slr02 and slr03 team machine bikes? Or maybe its just to cut costs.

No idea... btu then what does RSP stand for, f its just Round SeatPost, then it's just that simple, but if it stands for something else then...
