Wednesday, August 11, 2010 Viale Piave, Milano The Satorialist again (shoulda saved it for a week for the 5 year revival).

Sensible saddle & pannier, serious chain & lighting. Neat tool roll. But rod brakes?

Another random Scott Schuman shot. 2010 New York. Summer.
Love the contrast of the fun vs the cars on the racks behind.

The real Copenhagen Cycle-chic.

Daily Mail - Picking up the kids from kindergarten.

BTW, my wife looks as good as this on a bike too, except she has to wear a helmet that messes with her hair.

Another one from Scott Schuman - this time from Milan

I see a hub dyamo and lights. Full chain case. Pretty with-it for 2012. The full width mud flap is pretty daring. But the panniers compliement the dress :-)

Please forgive the small transgression of a motor in this pic. Maybe cj7hawk might back me up.

I'm sure with some airbrushing* finesse, that bike could merely become sort of compact, step through "family bike" a-la a rigid framed Raleigh 20.

Didn't they smudge out cigarettes in some later re-releases of the ol' B&W movie classics also?

Honour Blackman was in "A boy, a girl and a bike" in 1949 :-) before she was a Bond girl.
