Hey Gary.. any chance you could post up that article? I am in the same boat as you (but 13KG's heavier.. aiming to go from 98KG to 85KG.. a 5KG head start would be more than welcome.. and a routine is always nice!)gdl_gdl wrote:Okay, I have a new target weight now, and a date to reach it by: 01/03/09. I want to be at 75kg by that date.
The latest edition of Bicycling Australia has a training / nutrition plan to lose 5kg in 4 weeks.
Cheers,
Gary
Cheers in advance

Last two weeks Ive gotten serious about my diet and what I am eating and what for. Making sure I have enough carbs stored for riding. Have a 100km ride on Sunday last week been eating storing carbs, making sure I keep hydrated. I dont want to bonk.
Finsing it hard to maintain a strict diet at this point. After a ride I feel very low on sugars. Sipping on a sports drink after a ride is helping.
