Start - 96.0 kg
Current - 79.8 kg
Loss this week - 0.1 kg
Total Loss - 16.2 kg
Not much loss this week. 2 x Track, 1 x Rollers, 1 x Race, 1 x Club training ride.
This week is going to involve almost no training so I will be interested to see what happens. Tonights track session will most likely be my only time on the bike.

Now I am building up time on the indoor trainer, it should help to kick start things.
I don't know my starting weight because I got someone else to weigh me last week and this week and will do that for a bit longer cos I don't really want to know to be honest.
Week 1
Movement: -1.2kg's
Total Loss: 1.2kg's
2 x Pilates classes and 2 x 25mins on indoor trainer combined with my 20 minute walk's most mornings. I hope to do 4 sessions on the indoor trainer this week

One thing I find really useful to help weightloss is to bring food from home each day for lunch at work and have porridge for brekky most days - I enjoy full cream milk in coffee far too much to forgo it.MJF wrote:I know how you feel - I'm stuck (AT) -15kg. Starting weight this year 105 kilo.
Last week 96.5 kilos
This Week 96 kilos change -.5 kilos
Total Weight loss this year -9.0 kilos
Target now 92 Kilos but it's a fluid target.
Total distance ridden this week 163 kilometers
Distance was down due to my yearly wood cutting program. Although the fitness I've built up with my bike riding has helped. In 3 days I did the same amount of work that in past year that has taken anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks.
Bike Journal Ranking 278 down 21 positions
Country Ranking 25 th down 1 position.

I do - most days . It's the need to insulflate the contents of the pantry when I get home that's the problemlisanne wrote:One thing I find really useful to help weightloss is to bring food from home each day for lunch at work and have porridge for brekky most days - I enjoy full cream milk in coffee far too much to forgo it.MJF wrote:I know how you feel - I'm stuck (AT) -15kg. Strangely, today I only did 22km at lunchtime (too damned cold in the mornings now to commute), and wasn't particularly hungry when I got home. I'll see how I go the rest of the week...

Have you considered a protein shake or something else like sustagen instead? Depending on what you are grabbing from the cupboard, these could be better alternativesMJF wrote: It's the need to insulflate the contents of the pantry when I get home that's the problem

That would assume I've got food at home, which I normally don't.lisanne wrote: One thing I find really useful to help weightloss is to bring food from home each day for lunch at work and have porridge for brekky most days - I enjoy full cream milk in coffee far too much to forgo it.
I'm normally pretty good at getting decent lunches, there's a decent range of take aways across the road from work, one place that does DIY salads that my normal lunch destination, but I let myself have a stir fry or a curry occasionally as a reward for riding to work
My main weakness is snacking between meals, I'm working on cutting that out completely now.

For some reason I got on them this morning, and I'd lost 1.6kg since yesterday, after not losing anything in the previous 2 weeks.
I know it's not a valid number, and is easily explained by water loss or something like that, but it's still going to be annoying getting back on the scales next monday if my number then is higher, which I'm half expecting it to be

Today's Weight (kg): 133.0
Movement from last week (+ or - kg): -0.1kg
Target Weight (kg): 100
Total Lost (kg): 5.2kg

Still banging my head on the wall, but after the weekend I'm not surprised I didn't lose anything, went out and ate too much pretty much every meal.
Pretty sure I'm losing weight during the week, and putting it back on at the weekend

Only training session was last Monday. Spent a long weekend away eating fine food in the Blue Mountains. Now I have a cold, so I don't know when I'll get to ride again - probably in a few days time.

Movement: +0.3kg's
Total Loss: 0.9kg's
1 x Pilates class and 1 x 15mins on indoor trainer combined with my 20 minute walk's most mornings - very very pitiful amount of exercise due to being in lazy mode...
This week will be better although going to Sydney for work for a few days wont help.

I plan to do plenty of walking and may even check out the gym at the hotel to see if it is any good. The main problem with being in Sydney is food choices but I will do my bestmikesbytes wrote:Plenty of Pilates classes, indoor trainers and walking in Sydneylisanne wrote:This week will be better although going to Sydney for work for a few days wont help.
This thread is actually helping with my motivation - I want to be able to put up next week that I have lost more weight and done more exercise!
