The skinwalls and the wine/carbon scheme reminds me of my new re-build of an old new build that's been an unused ornament for sale but just love the frame.
The new re-build with the antithesis of skinwall, treadwall with rim protection lip. New is old is new again.

Nice looking bike- braking surface is not the best but they sound good being used

Are they SRAM hydros- that might explain the height?

Not hydro but I asked to have the set up as close as possible to my trek boone which has hydro brakes. The handlebars on the grovel are an unusual shape but they work well on the hoiods
