Not too bad, my chamois gives me a lot of padding. No numbness on long rides either.
I bit the Bullet today and went with the Bontrager Paradigm RXXXL Carbon - very light 150g, will test tomorrow on a local ride - must admit the look of it makes the bike sharp in visuals

Cool! How much did you buy it for?
And how is the saddle on long rides?

Seat felt good just threw a 75km ride from Glenelg to Moana Beach - its a little stiffer than my Selle Italia Flite Gel but i think the width of the Selle Italia was wrong from Day one...

Yep it's a stunning colour especially in person..

Specs; Fox 34 CTD Talas Evo160mm F, Fox Float CTD Evo R, mix of SLX and Deore with a Zee crankset, wheels and dropper seat post are giant branded but both are really decent..

Oversize pic link...

This is my Scott r3 addict

Got it for $900 second hand but it had been ridden once

Odd story ...some guy bought it new and paid close to $4k for it new back in late 2013.

He rode it three or four times ......then took it back and wanted to re-sell it back to bike shop. They couldn't do it as they were allowed to sell second hand bikes.

He must have fallen on hard times or something. So he took it to cash converters and they must have just said 500 maybe

So I got it for $900 bucks and not a scratch on it. The bloke said it had been on the shop floor an hour and I happened to just stroll in.

Sold my other bike which was specialised comp for $400 to my dad as he wanted to ride with me some days. It was probably worth more but hey it's your dad c'mon.

So win win ...new bike for me for 500 bucks. I'm not that serious that I needed to two bikes anyways. Plus wife said if I wanted to buy I would need to sell the other ...fair enough I said.

It re- energised my riding

Just has the standard shimmano 105 running gear in it, it's full carbon bike that rides smoothly. Nice and stiff frame for my 88 kg. rides like a dream. I live out of town and I have some lovely rides where I live.

I still see the scot addict r3 bike selling for $1200 on gumtree so $900 new was just a no brainer for almost new bike...I had to do it. I have dropped 8kg since I've had it so it's working nicely. My job is stressful at times (drug and alcohol counsellor) so I rode to clear my head really - the physical side is just a bonus really. Loving riding again.

Will purchase a mountain bike for some variety riding also.

I recently took a week off work to ride my bike in New Zealand. Best thing I've done on two wheels in ages!

That is a super-nice frame, original or immaculate restored?
It's hard to see what isn't chrome or polished!
27" skin wall tyres?, super tight clearance rear tyre to seat post, super nice!

Original condition with a few stone chips in the usual places but not a speck of rust :D

25mm FMB Paris Roubaix - genuine Magic Carpet Ride stuff, yes the clearance (4.5mm) is tight but I have the axle adjust screws in a fair way, they could come back a bit I guess.

Why thank you! I love looking at it as much as riding it........ :D

Master lives in Australia, it's my go slow bike on the 'West' Island, this one I keep permanently in New Zealand with a friend. It's just for 3 or 4 one week visits per year, or at least that is my plan. I have no children, no mortgage, no debts...... so what the heck........ I'm booked in for another week in April next year. :D :D :D

I see your two cages, and raise you. Prepped for a Perth-Bunbury-Perth sandy beaches ride over Christmas in the 30-35degC's, plus have several tiny fuel belt ones for jersey pockets and bar/seat post packs if necessary, and 2L hydration bladder dry to load up for any long stretches.
