My new fair weather commuter / fun bike - 2014 TCR SLR1 (full 6800 Ultegra) with new rear wheel (24h Hope Mono RS with H+Son Archetype). Front wheel to follow when funds available- currently using spare Pro Lite Bracciano. Pedals- Ultegra Carbon.
Weight- 8kgs dead as is without jewelry
One of our local pros (Satalyst) has an aluminium TCR as his training bike - says it is a really great bike, just a bit 'heavy.' I 'spose it is compared to his race bike!
I recently shod my CAAD10 (58cm) Ult6800, with Fulcrum Racing Zeros and it is now down to 8.02Kg - with cages, lights and Garmin mount - which is fairly good I reckon.
These aluminium bikes are quite under-rated.
Enjoy the bike.
cheers

I've thinking of doing the same but with FR1s and 105 . Which BB30 adapter did you use? Notice any change in Q factor?
