around 8.30 according to strava.

Was going to repeat yesterday, but after coming off the bike coming down Osmond a few weeks ago I wasn't keen on riding in that sort of weather!

After a year of neglect and not ridden, I gave the ol' Apollo some TLC and took her on a nice long Sunday ride :)

Down in Sydney now? That makes getting a replica Saronni fork built really easy.

Having cracked the frame on my Trek Boone 9 and with a 3 week wait for a new frame I ended up buying a Trek Boone 5 which was stripped and all the bits and bobs from the Boone 9 were switched over although the Boone 5 had an alloy/carbon thru axle fork so I have kept the carbon QR fork until I can rebuild front wheels....Also whilst it was apart I changed the drive train to Sram force CX1 (50t) and XTR di2 derailleur with 11-40t cassette

An ode to my past 18 months (without commute) recreational rides. End of first week with a new commute, I skipped the usual A-B route for A-C-B therapy.

I took this Lapierre for a test ride yesterday. Despite the 35 degree heat I quite enjoyed it.

I rented this Giant Defy Advanced 2 for a couple of days in Le Bourg d'Oisans. Did Alpe d'Huez yesterday and the Col de la Croix de Fer today. The alps are mind blowing.
