Had a proper fit done before purchase but still needed to tweek things.
So, new stem and matching post.
90mm -6° Raceface Turbine.
I also since leveled the top of the bars, dropped a 5mm spacer and cut the steerer to size for a flush stem cap finish.
Raceface Turbine offset post.
And I re-taped the bars from white to black (and did a better job of this than the shop too)
First mod within 2 hours of having the bike was some BBB Aluboys ceramic bearing alloy jockey wheels. These were left over from one of my mountain bikes. The Selle SLR TT was also done at the same time.

The amount of electrical tape there says otherwise.Steevo wrote:And I re-taped the bars from white to black (and did a better job of this than the shop too)

The foam tape was loose before and my fingers would catch the edges regularly. And the shop used more electrical tape than what you see here. Maybe it was their trainee that put it all together, dunno.
I've since picked up some 'finishing' tape for the ends that'll tidy it up. The electrical tape was a temp fix.

New Upgrades since last post, Ultegra Compact Crank FC-6800 50/34T and New Schwalbe 700x25C rubber - think its time to change the seat to something a bit more sleek, whats the Bizz these days, or is it a personal thing to what suits you as a rider

Great setup for transport! Nice and orderly. I assume the back seat has to be folded down?dj.bren wrote:

Cheers. Yeah I folded the back seats when two bikes are being carried but actually I don't need to fold them when using one bike since I don't have the middle seat section.jgon286 wrote:Great setup for transport! Nice and orderly. I assume the back seat has to be folded down?dj.bren wrote:

Not the same brand but uses same logic.cancan64 wrote:Thats what I need, I lie mine down at the moment....is there a link to these or a brand??dj.bren wrote:
Actually if I don't feel like putting the bike in that way I just remove the front tires and I can stand and place the bike across between front and back seats and just turn the handlebars side ways

I love the polished H Plus Son Archetypes and reckon they suit the Moots.sumgy wrote:Some better pics with everyday wheels:
I have them on my Montello and intend to get a set in black for everyday wheels on my carbon bike.

Not too bad, my chamois gives me a lot of padding. No numbness on long rides either.MADCAP wrote:comfy on long rides?Rockford wrote:Selle Italia SLR, nice and sleek

I bit the Bullet today and went with the Bontrager Paradigm RXXXL Carbon - very light 150g, will test tomorrow on a local ride - must admit the look of it makes the bike sharp in visualsRockford wrote:Not too bad, my chamois gives me a lot of padding.
