Nice going. :)

I've stalled a bit due to a heavy cold. :( I think it is finally shifting, but it has been very stubborn.

Take it easy - my stubborn cold turned out to be pneumonia.

hit 10k. target 15k will be a struggle. this month has been 'challenging' after I cracked my collarbone (again) and am stuck on the trainer.

I'm not going to make 15. It will be a challenge for you to get there

I hit 105,000kms on Strava this morning

2 falls in one year. 2 broken collarbones! this one is only cracked though, so it is almost healed already. thanks though.

congrats. I will be back on the road in the next few days or so, but yes it will be a challenge. not unachievable, but then it's not my primary goal either.

Passed 5,000K today, so looks as if I will get to 6 from a wheezing, standing start in mid-January. Recent months have certainly seen an increase from the mid-400s I was doing earlier. Would be nice to be a whole lot faster, though ...

Faster comes with more riding, up to a point.

6k does seem possible.

Another 1/2 month, another 1300km with 25,000m climbing.
Yes, I've been in the Pyrénées for 16 days, and have 13 to go.

12,200 as of this morning despite what it says in my progress bar. I'm just over 1000 kms ahead of my target so fingers crossed the rest of the year is good.

I don't know what my yearly total will be, but my Sep total is higher than usual for me: 1950km with 41,500m climbing. I did no cycling from 1st to 5th Sep, so that total is for 25 days.

(but I am still in the Pyrénées :) )

I'll weigh in as a 1st timer to this thread.

Despite a crappy couple of winter months due to illness, I am so far at 6,883km with 71,898m of elevation gain. Last month was 883km and 10,036m. Back in the grove !!

Best I've done distance wise is around 8,000, but have already bested my highest elevation gain, with almost 3 months to go :)

Not bad for 52 and 98kg !!

With over 4 weeks off the bike due to illness it has been slow getting from 5 to 6k but fortunately I had enough buffer to stay ahead of schedule .... just. Looking forward to a better run till the end of the year.
Put in a 128k ride with the Moreton Bay 100 plus commutes a couple of weeks back, my second longest ride on record so happy with that.

I've just ticked over 8000 km and hoping to get to 10K. Might just sneak in with a few long distance cycling events coming up.

Lol. One day later after writing this I have my first crash. Knocked off the bike by someone who didn't give way at a roundabout. Bike is stuffed, but luckily I got away with some bruising and bad gravel rash.
