Sore. Having to wear a neck brace is a drag and I miss picking up the little one. I think my brain is starting to work again (although I doubt I’ll get Friday’s memories back). Could have been a lot worse!jasonc wrote:How are you doing kB?

Was this a crash or a hit by a car?kb wrote:Sore. Having to wear a neck brace is a drag and I miss picking up the little one. I think my brain is starting to work again (although I doubt I’ll get Friday’s memories back). Could have been a lot worse!jasonc wrote:How are you doing kB?

Glad to hear things are improving. I'm not too far away from you so give me a shout if you need anything.
Cheers,

Disable etags on my optus member page for bna sigs. Hopefully they won't be wrongly cached now.kb wrote:hmm.. changes are copied up but the caching of the images seems a little sticky. I found they updated after a ctrl-r or two. Can’t really check why for a while though.

Damn. That's terrible luck and not a whole lot you could do about it.kb wrote:I think a car pulled out just in front of me. If it’s where I thInk it is I was probably doing around 50kph. Will pick up bike (and Garmin) from police soon.
Hope you mend quickly.
I'm up to 7282km so far. The new commute is nice - 11km each way and fairly peaceful. Loving not using trains or buses anymore.

Man that sucks pretty hard. I fractured my pelvis about 11 weeks ago. That hurt a lot!!! Not in the same league as your injury. Like me, you will be back into it ..... hopefully sooner rather than laterkb wrote:Haven’t had the bike checked out yet but my guess of 50kph was right so feeling unlucky that it happened but lucky with how it turned out. Pretty bad concussion.. I feel most of the way back to coherent now. Fractured C7, T1 and T4 vertebrae and a couple of broken ribs. Will probably take another month or so off the bike but hoping to get back to work (reduced hours) some time this week.
