I think I'm recovered from being sick, now back riding properly again and just got through 4000km today.

Me too! I did seven thousand easily last year but eight thousand has been much more of a see-saw battle.Mustang wrote:I've had enough of the brown bar, hopefully Easter will resolve the issue

Hmm, Easter will do the opposite for me as all my KMs are commuting. Add to that 3 weeks holiday in late April/early May and I think I'll have a brown bar for months yet.Mustang wrote:I've had enough of the brown bar, hopefully Easter will resolve the issue

Have to pull my finger out to create a healthy buffer to avoid a
mad scramble in December like last year
Brisbane wet weekends are killing my average.

Had my lowest monthly total for the year (about 450km) - even though I did two centuries rides (one of them my longest ride of all time!). I know a lost a week due to weather/work, and my recovery from the first century ride took longer than I expected.
At any rate - learnt a few things about how my body reacts to longer rides, and it gives me a few things to work on. Big goal for this month is the 110km Great Brisbane Bike Ride - withe ride to/from it'll be my longest ride ever, plus there is the Mt Coot-tha Challenge in the middle so am hoping for a PB there (which won't be hard given how unfit I was last time, and relatively easy compared to the Toowoomba Range!!).
