Sydney Kids Rides
Postby steliop » Thu Jan 19, 2017 10:17 am
Sunday Funday is a chance to participate in events at Lidcombe Oval with other kids. It is brought to you by JuniorCyclist.org.au, the same guys who put on the InterSchoolCycling.org.au Events.
We are catering especially for beginners who can ride without training wheels on any BMX / mountain / hybrid / road bikes, through to seasoned riders.
The events are more about kids having fun, fitness and a healthy lifestyle. They will be in a similar format to the School Cup events held during school term, however no points are awarded to schools at Sunday Funday events.
Cost is $12 for casual (try before you buy a membership) or $7 with a $30 membership.
Sign-on opens: 2:15pm
Events: 3pm sharp

Kids earn points for school. Points are weighted towards participation. -The more kids from your school, the more points your school earns.
Riders are graded by ability. There are up to seven grades on any given week making it easy for young riders to start and work their way through the grades.
The events are more about kids having fun, fitness and a healthy lifestyle. All riders without training wheels are welcome. Any BMX, Hybrid, Road or Track bike will do.
Cost is $12 for casual (try before you buy a membership) or $7 with a $30 membership.

-Fastest growing junior cycling club in NSW - JuniorCyclist.org.au
-Highest junior participation rate at regular events - InterSchoolCycling.org.au
-50% female participation.
-All riders feel welcome from beginners to advanced.
Most importantly, we've built a great community base where both the kids and the parents are having fun. This means it doesn't feel like work!
I'll try to keep posting updates each week.
