Bit of a plug, but...
For anyone in Melbourne on Suday 18th December, make sure you head down to SKCC's annual SuperCrit!
We have Elite Mens and Womens races on with some BIG prize money and a lot of big Pro-Tour names will be racing! So far, we have confirmed the below riders with more announcements still to follow!
Men
- Simon Gerrans
- Nathan Haas
- Cam Meyer
- Steele von Hoff
- Baden Cooke
- Jonathan Cantwell
Women
- Netti Edmonson
- Chloe Hosking
- Peta Mullens
- Lizzie Williams
- Lauren Kitchen
The NRS teams will also be well represented in the Elite races along with a number of other riders with impressive palmares!
Elite Women's race starts at 11:30am and Elite Men's at 1:30pm.
I'm racing Men's A support race if you want to turn up early (starts at 9:15am) and give the CanardSolutions team a cheer... (cheering optional)

nice one Cerb. I'll try and get down and watch. I think Mark Renshaw might be representing Bike Gallery?

haha.. not quite ft! I'm in Men's A, not in the Elite race.
Hoping my chances are improved with lots of faster riders above me doing the elite race! However, I fully expect there will be plenty of tough competition in A...
Of course, it's also Supercrit - which has actual prize money. So sandbaggers come out of the works from everywhere and they aren't always used to racing the course or with as many people - sometimes leading to more dangerous racing. I'm pretty conservative in this type of environment - prefer to ride home on my bike rather than in an ambulance.
Think I've probably set enough excuses already for why I didn't win?
