Time to consider purchasing a set of cameras, real evidence which for incidents like this is invaluable to get police action. I'm regularly up there for work I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Hopefully you and the bike are OK?

Damn that sucks to hear. Is it not possible for the Cops to look up how many white Cruisers are registered in Brookfield or Upper Brookfield road? Granted it's 4wd country there, but still a bit of research now may mean they stop a serious incident occurring and that they'll get egg on their face.

I frequent upper brookfield a bit these days mostly in the mornings though, will have to keep an eye out for any cars matching description. Will probably type it out to put on my stem. Perhaps connected to the anti cyclists signs near the end on the shed? ACTUALLY WAIT, few months ago (in April upon consultation with strava, I remember cuz it was a wet ride) I was turning around at the end of upper brookfield and some moron in a white 4wd land cruiser wouldn't move over and give me any room I had to duck under his side mirrors. It was on the 800m single road section. Again it was middle of the day and I was solo. From my run in I would say he lives in any of the houses past the 800m to road end sign.

Might be worth staking out that last bit of Upper Brookfield Road to find out exactly where he lives - that way police can be advised where to direct their inquiries in the event of any future incidents

I went out and back today on Upper Brookfield, I did see an old white Landcruiser and it passed me on a bridge near the top. Didn't see this post and the plate number prior to going though.
Didn't have any issues, looked like a guy driving with longish scraggly grey/dark hair.
