Hi all
I am hoping to head out on a ride tomorrow, to do 40-50kms. What's a good ride with a few climbs? Anyone wanna join me?

Hi Eveready2, you may need to indicate roughly where you are to get a few replies.
Have fun, always a nice day for a ride.

Let me know if you're keen to do another ride at some point. I'll have the road bike rebuild all done soon and am keen to find some other people to ride with. More interesting thasn riding by yourself.

I'll also indicate some interest in joining a group over that sort of distance...

If you're north side Canberra you can head out Mulligans Flat Road north, cut through Sutton and back down the Federal Highway into town, that has a few hills and might challenge you.
South side you can cut through Point Hut Crossing, head south to Tharwa then back into town past Banks, Gordon and Conder.

Mulligan's is still dirt at the end. The dirt starts at the junction to East Tallagandra Ln which is sealed. If you are going out to Sutton you go via East Tallagandra anyway. Slightly longer but all sealed.
I noticed there were bunches of flowers on East Tallagandra last Sunday. Picked up a massive bunch for $6 to keep to wife happy Still looking good today 9 days later.
