Caution - Burke Drive Attadale - Tacks on road

Hi All,
A post in a community chat group on FB today that I thought I'd pass on.
Its not my post, and I'm only copying verbatim to help others in the lead up to this weekend....

"Warning to cyclists and other road users.
Some deranged individual placed tacks on Burke Drive last night.
Fortunately only caused minor inconvenience to a few riders this morning but huge potential for injury to bunch riders.
City of Melville are cleaning up but beware of psychopathic locals."

Was down that way yesterday, no issues, so looks like the council acted quickly on it, which is great!

Heavy-use area for bikes but I've never had any issues with people down there, they appear to tolerate us

Don't they know we just cycle down to marvel at their huge houses
