Really chilly out there over the last couple of mornings, not too many more weeks and it will be getting warmer.

Nice ride this morning round the river loop, the chill was gone so only a long sleeve jersey required.
A few spots of rain but nothing to get too excited about. I prefer feeling free of garments, not a fan of the chill.

Nice tail wind pushing everyone along burke street :)

Plenty rain on Saturday night.
I rode along the river early Sunday morning & going through Ashfield the river had just started to overflow.
I suspect not long after it would have been difficult to get thorough.

When I got up at 6am the weather app said "4 degrees - feels like 1." But it wasn't that bad when I hit the road. My gloves didn't keep all the cold out, but my fingers weren't totally frozen when I got to work.

5.3 as i left at about 630 this morning.

Had an extra bonds singlet under my usual (thin) baselayer. Felt great.

I had this https://www.cyclestore.co.uk/altura_rac ... t-ID_61697 arrive on Monday (on sale for $58) and wore it this morning with these gloves https://www.merlincycles.com/altura-the ... 72766.html. Also had a base layer on. Was toasty warm from the start - actually wished it was a few degrees colder  . Perhaps did not need the base layer. Very impressed with the jacket.

Brrr. Yes, roll on spring.

It's only a couple of degrees less than the perfect conditions of yesterday but it's a b#tch of cold breeze. Not so much fun on the ride in this morning.

Spotted you yesterday morning by Mt Henry Bridge. Fun SE wind I was riding into. Would have turned around except I was on an audax ride and getting a draft :)

If you had turned around I would have returned the favour and taken your audax route and you could then have drafted behind ME!

I aborted and left my bike at work.
Didn't regret that decision on the train!

Dodged the rain in both directions yesterday, well it started drizzling on me in the last 100m but that hardly counts.

Had to drive today to carry bulky stuff into work, not a bad day to miss :)

A bit too cold AGAIN this morning. The knitted synthetic gloves were not up to the task.

Outside of the cold, another PERFECT early morning in paradise.

Bit of a change this morning though, a balmy 13 degrees on my way in, with a touch of drizzle.
