It was magic but a little on the chilly side starting off - Garmin records 2 degrees and one of the other guys saw -0.5. Wasn't bad once we were all rolling through though.

Yeah we had a -1 which was indeed frosty, but the pace kept the body warm so it was all good. Felt sorry for this who didn't wear long fingered gloves!

Easy, should have tried Audax Dave's Dirty Weekend (Last Chance 100). Now that was hard! But it was a beautiful day and I get nice bling from finishing the dirt series now

Oooh... Was a tiny bit cold starting out.
Think it was down to about 3 yesterday at 6.30am.

Was on a group ride south to Rockingham along the FWY bikepath. Was pretty cold through the lower parts.
No protection from any housing or buildings along the way either, and the cold was whipping straight off the Freeway and adjoining fields.

Was absolutely spot on from about 9am though!

Pretty sure I cracked a rib in an off when I was MTB'ing at Kalamunda on the weekend, decided to play it safe and not ride today.. This weather is just teasing me :(

Fantastic weather this morning. Cold for first half hour then great. Finished in shorts and best by the end. Here's hoping to more mornings like that

*mutters and grumbles some more*

Tried to get riding gear ready with a "oh I'll be careful so should be OK!" and got promptly growled at by SWMBO and "informed" that at the very least I'm taking this week off riding -.-

Why couldn't I be injured when the weather was crappy and I was looking for excuses to not ride?!

That was the first shorts and jersey commute for what felt like months, there were a few cold spots in the hollows but it was magic to feel some warm air on skin. Not so pleasant this morning, was not too cold but heavy drizzle for 3/4's of the way in, not surprisingly the paths were very quiet this morning compared to last night

Yes, was a nice temperature this morning. I only saw 6 other riders in 10Km's, don't people realise that they're waterproof?

Drive day today, swap clothes and toastmasters after.

Glad I missed getting drenched.

Nice riding in the fog this morning, though it was thick enough to get my helmet wet.
I don't think I could see either bank from the middle of Mt Henry bridge, and Kings Park had a tropical rainforest look.
Didn't see many other bikes out, but maybe I just missed them in the fog.

You couldn't even see the city from the Narrows bridge.
That was impressive.

I couldn't see anything from anywhere, thick fog and misted glasses.

Right.. Had an xray, no sign of any cracked ribs so i guess theyre just bruised... I cant see how cycling might aggravate bruising, so hopefully be out there enjoying the weather again next week!
