Got fairly drenched lastnight and this morning but the temperature was lovely so it's all good.
Agree never really found a waterproof one. I have the top of the range gore one and whilst it is amazing it's not waterproof

Lots of rubbish around as the storm blow and washed all the debris onto the paths.

Watch it out there!

Showers Pass touring doesn't let any water in either. Simple Showers Pass gear is made for a similar climate from Northern California which is similar for Perth.

That was nice this morning, good welcome back after 10 days off the bike, cool, crisp, bright, not too windy and mostly light

Spring is on the way! 2 layers was ample yesterday morning and I could still feel my toes when I got to work.

Rode round Mundaring reservoir today. Was beautiful, then I got totally drenched through. Plenty thunder.
All good fun.

 awesome....did the camel farm loop a couple of weekends ago with the young fella, and soaked to the bone, a few war wounds and covered in mud, you couldn't wipe the smiles of our faces. Good fun and good memories.

Has anyone else noticed that BoM keep getting the forecast way off lately? I had to drive down to the airport the other weekend and the forecast said no rain until Thursday but it was hammering down all they way down there and back. I passed up the chance of riding a couple of times last week and again yesterday as they forecast storms and we hardly had a drop of rain. Today I decided to ride despite the forecast of strong southerly headwinds and there was hardly a breath of wind.

There was definitely a southerly, but it died off pretty early.

Frozen feet this morning, caught out by the wet roads.

Chilly this morning - sore teeth is a sure sign.

Yes midgies were invading Perth, but besides that - pretty much the best conditions I've ridden in Perth since I can remember.

Yeah. Yesterday the westerley came in before 9:30, very early. Today I found it at Canning Bridge around 6am. A bit of a cool edge to it too.
