Perfect for a 77km extended commute/fast group ride to arrive at work where the air-con in the changing room had failed. May as well not had the shower.

I just enjoy the warmth (and sweat) rather than wintry storms and getting sick

I must have counted half a dozen riders out there this arvo.
Went down to Mandurah and back.

For once, Seabreeze had the right forecast ie two tailwinds! (move over Midland!).

I wonder if it will be too hot this week for the Riverside Drive sunbaker, he has been oiled up and laying out topless everyday this week

42 degrees, dry and windy - the ride home was pretty harsh. But thanks to the "warm shower and pedestal fan" tip, shortly after getting home I felt completely fine, no problems from heat overload. Although I could have made a cup of tea with my water bottle, it was so hot!

A little weird. Yesterday I had to do a few errands over a wide area. And on the day from 9:00 am in Welshpool it was BLAZINGLY hot.

Hotter, it seemed, than the actual air temperature. And five minutes in the sun and I could feel the warmth on my nose from my glasses frame.

Today I chose to ride to Perth and back and expecting it to be a bit wearing. But it was beautifully cool when I started out and was still not too bad when I left my coffee shop for theretun trip home. Got home at 11:00 and it STILL felt better than yesterday.

Yet my wife tells me that today it was 44! A couple of degrees hotter than yesterday.

Go figure.

Edit: She tells me now that that was Bullbrook. I checked the BOM time records for Perth and Jandakot and it was a little less hot today. The world makes sense again.

Not worrying about other peoples/BraindDead FMs random temperature quotes and just going with my own gut at the time of knock off. I could bail to the train (pre-rush hour) if I really wanted to.

Hasn't killed me yet over the last two days.

The same people will be whinging about the cold come the spring chills and the wet (or risk thereof) during winter.

I found Monday worse than today. (Leaving work at 5) That hot wind was the worst but I don't have a long commute so not too bad.

Agree, Monday's baking hot dry winds made it feel so much worse. After that, Tuesday and today have been quite easy to cope with.

Really nice to get a humid change come through yesterday but perhaps I'm one of the few who enjoyed the sweat fest!

it was a bit slippery out there this morning
Managed to hit the pavement when coming around to the underpass underneath the freeway North offramp by mounts bay road. Did it at a nice low speed, so no lasting(expensive) damage to bike/self, but it was a bit of a wakeup call.

Be safe out there!

Long sleeved jersey was enough to get by this morning but the fingers were a bit cold when I got to work!

Am I the only one who actually likes riding when it's still dark and cold in the mornings?

It got chilly really quickly after some rain in the previous weeks. I'll take cold and clear any day!
