it's always colder in KP, especially in the little valley bit on Lovekin drive.Parker wrote:It was nice this morning, did an hour on the bike, coldest part was one of the descents at Kings Park.
and on the stretch of Winthrop Avenue between Monash Ave & Aberdare Rd.

i ride the bit between Monash & Aberdare every day - i watch my Garmin drop on average about 2.5deg in that stretch. i've thought about stopping before to see just how cold it will get.roller wrote:

I did jinkx it. I was supposed to be walking home from the train station. I got 500 m when it started pouring, so I took shelter and called for a lift.nihaz wrote:You jinxed itcasual_cyclist wrote:Looks good out there now.wexford wrote:Whoever braved the grim weather this morning should have a pleasant return trip this afternoon

I agree it was another spectacular morning. I was really cold for the first half of my ride but for a clear, still, sunny morning in the middle of winter... I'll take it!roller wrote:Another beautiful morning, once again it was cold but then extra-cold in King's Park.

I was pretty well rugged up, but my face was stinging...
I was supposed to be up a bit earlier to get a couple loops at Kings Park in before work, but I checked weatherzone and it was a smidge under 3 degrees at the time. Knowing it'd be a bit colder than that again through Kings Park, I pulled the covers back up, snuggled my pillow and decided not to worry!
