There were some better diversion signs southbound this morning (maybe my email to Main Roads did some good). Diversion now starts slightly earlier (which avoids the beach-load of sand all over the road where the park is / works starts) and is clearly signposted to send you along Tresise and Camelot.

Except the poor cyclist who was caught on the wrong side of that fence this morning. She had to walk her bike through the bushes to get around it.

Anyone noticed if this is on track for completion tomorrow- will be massively surprised if that is the case?

Unfortunately, owing to the inclement weather which has delayed the final concrete works, the route will not be able to reopen as expected this week.

Subject to the weather and as long as there is a rain free day both paths and connecting links should be open Wednesday of next week.

Re-opened this morning. Nice straight alignment, smooth bitumen, but still a steep ramp at the north end.

Steep white-ant hills are needed to separate the men from the boys amongst the flatlands commuters. It's not my commute now but I'll be keen to test ride it out of curiosity.

I meant steep in terms of a wheel-buckling / bounce your hands off the bars kerb and slope rather than being a climb.

I was hopeful that MainRoads would have taken the opportunity to repair several cracks/bumps/etc while the PSP was closed, further south. Sadly not.

We are still exiting onto Excalibur Way, so slow down when doing this.
