Prime opportunity for KOM status...at least until it opens for all.

Very smooth, very nice in both directions. It certainly feels like we've lost a perfectly good hill when heading North!

No, I thought the same thing myself the first time I went down the hill. Then again, that little bit of wetland at the Southern end adds some interest, and the smooth uphill gradient on the way back makes it all worthwhile.worzel wrote:It's open! I rode through it half an hour ago. Would it be churlish of me to say the Mitchell PSP is now a little more boring?

I was joking of course, it is a great improvement. However, in my 33km ride from Currambine to the city the longest section of path that was relatively flat, straight and without swapping path-road or vice versa was maybe 1.5km. There is now a section of almost 4km between Karrinyup Road and Excalibur Way. Those who ride in from the south are probably thinking "big deal" but for the first time I actually have to think about pacing myself rather than constantly attacking a climb then resting on a descent or having to slow for a junction then accelerate away again.Downhill wrote:No, I thought the same thing myself the first time I went down the hill.
