Hopefully the 2 guys down on the Perth - Bassendean (soon to be Success Hill) PSP last night pulled up ok.
Ambos on site & didn't look too bad.
Bit of a surprise that someone riding past felt the need to blurt out that people ride too fast and they deserved it (WT)
Have enough trouble with motorists without us turning on each other.

i only take alexander dr on the weekends, and usually very quiet at that time as you would assume on a weekend.

I normally take mirrabooka ave/flinders/charles between 6.30-7. and its busy, but not to bad. There are some narrow sections to be wary of, ie dogswamp lights

warmer weather and seeing more guys on the commutes nowadays.

my commutes have started later, im now travelling between 630-7am mirrabooka>flinders>charles>city

At about 415 ill be on the St Georges Tce in front of the central park building usually waiting for my garmin to hook up with the satellite, a good few mins just sitting there near the lights. Then its HorseShoe>Roe>Fiztgerald>Alexander>Grand Prom>Yirrigan>Mirrabooka

Im on a purple/green retro cannondale running Di2 with 80mm carbons.

Also have been running into a '613am' cycling group on saturday mornings recently, usually join them on stirling hwy just before north perth then i peel off back to curtain ave. Anyone know these guys?

Saw a chap get doored today on Beechboro Road North, looked to be unharmed (more shocked than anything) - thankfully there was no car immediately behind him.

If you're reading this - hope your bike is ok !

Howdy Jase...!

Yeah, you have.
I bought some arm / leg warmers off you just as it was getting colder last year.

Your bike is looking sweet, mate!
See you out there.

If you really want to track your missed connections, try the flyby feature of strava.

http://labs.strava.com/flyby/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It makes strava stalking very easy!

Handy, but I assume these features become Pro only once they move out of Labs?

I chased a guy on a camo SS and another guy on a Trek on Monday, but got separated at Cranford Ave and couldn't catch them back up.

You on here by any chance Mr iTunes? Already gave kudos on Strava. Trek guy musn't be a user.

Good to see Colin our local uni-cyclist this morning! I was on the yellow bike with the Fly6 and gave you a quick wave between Canning and Narrows.

I do recall someone calling out to me after they had passed by about 5 metres. I think there were three or four passing me at the time.

A lot of the group rides tend to fly along that section early but I did not see that many this morning. A pity as the temperature and stillness was really comfortable. It was pretty much mostly wet track the whole way but it was from earlier I never saw a drop of rain fall.

Heading out again shortly for my daily (hmm, not quite so daily as pre-retirement  ) coffee at Sassys near the messed up Bell Tower.

Saw a bearded bloke on a bike with panniers in Maylands tonight when I was on my way out for a paddle. He was coming up a side street but I swear he was wearing a BNA jersey. Who were you?

Red panniers? Black bike (Vivente World Ranonneur)? Could have been me (I certainly fit the "bearded bloke" category). I was wearing an "old school" BNA jersey today (actually, it's my only BNA jersey) just for a change from the hi-viz stuff. I always use the shared-path from Windan Bridge to the Maylands Golf Course and then either hang a left up Fogerthorpe Crescent to Richard Street or take the long way around the peninsula (short way tonight, I had much to do at home).
