Subi to The Bell Tower
Postby flashpixx » Fri Apr 04, 2014 10:02 pm
Is it possible to get from Subiaco to the Bell Tower on a bike path/shared path? If not what would be the safest route? cheers

Use railway bike path from Subi to City West (railway will be on your left).
Just after City West train station but before Perth Arena cross the road on your right. There is a big multi story carpark on this corner.
Its a very popular crossing.
This PSP crosses Wellington and Murray St. It heads up a short steepish hill which passes the bottom of Mount St and heads south towards the Narrows.
Just before you start your ascent onto the Narrows bridge you turn right and go under the bridge.
Use the pedestrian crossing to get onto the path for the tower.

Thanks Hugor, appreciated
I "think" this map works. So the works at QE Quay haven't blocked the cycle path along Riverside?

starting to find my way around Perf by bike

The route I have described is visible as a green line on that map.
There is a short detour onto the Esplenade around the works at the Quay. Its well signposted.
