RAC Pedal Prix WA - August 17, 2014
Postby Aushiker » Tue May 27, 2014 1:46 pm
The RAC will provide $20,000 in support to the WA Human Powered Vehicle Association through its Community Sponsorships program to deliver the inaugural RAC Pedal Prix WA event in Busselton.
The RAC is committed to giving back to our members and the wider WA community through the Community Sponsorships program. Since 2011, the program has provided more than $675,000 in sponsorship support to a variety of community initiatives across WA.
The RAC has supported the WA Human Powered Vehicle Association to deliver the inaugural RAC Pedal Prix WA event in Busselton on Sunday 17 August 2014. The sponsorship will give students and community groups the opportunity to design and build a three-wheeled human powered vehicle. Over 30 teams are expected to participate in the program where they will bring their vehicles to Busselton to compete in the six hour event.
More details at the RAC Blog Page
I didn't realise the WAHPV was that active at the moment to get this off the ground.

Interesting that this event is being hosted in Busselton.
Wish it was in Perth, as would love to see it, and what they come up with.

Thanks for posting Andrew.
Had hoped to get down but the flu bug or whatever I have put paid to that.
How many competitors? Is there a list anywhere I wonder? It would be interesting to look at the results.

Thanks Andrew.
I hope this becomes an annual event and gathers more competitors.
John.
