And those who do live in the City of Belmont, registration forms can be found here:
Free Bicycle Registration Program
If anyone takes up the offer, let us know how good that lock is?

The registration form has "Estimated value ($)" as a question. I have no idea how to value my bike.

I must have watched too much Late Show in the early 90s... I was expecting all through that video for someone dressed up as a Cartoon Burglar or Disney Beagle Boy-type to come tip-toeing into the background and steal the bike from behind them. It was placed way too conspicuously in the camera frame.

Ah I'm on the wrong side of the river. Shared to mates on Belmont though as our sports club has had a few break ins and bikes going missing.

Cool lock. The inbuilt alarm is a great idea. Anyone know whether these are available anywhere else? I did a quick search and didn't come up with much apart from Lock8 (which looks good too)

I still have to do this. I completely forgot about it. Putting it on my "to do" list now.
