Trying to find a safe route from Ballajura down to North Fremantle, I will be using the Psp route from Newcastle St south.
First part takes me down Alexander which I don't fancy at 5:30am with tired drivers.
Thanks

Hmmm, so many options.
I've ridden from Malaga to Osborne Park before, which is essentially the same getting to the Mitchell PSP. It is usually on paths or quiet streets. I went along Australis Ave, left onto the Northwood Ave PSP, right onto Yirrigan Road, which is on-road for half a click until it turns into Ravenswood and there is a bike lane. Ravenswood becomes Amelia St but turn left before then to stay on Ravenswood. Cross over Wanneroo Rd to get onto Beryl St, cross Main St, turn left onto Albert St, cross Karrinyup Rd, continue down to Hutton St. On the South side there is a path that, although not signed as a bike path, is very wide and frequented by cyclists. Head West along it to the freeway. You should be able to figure the rest out from there. To cut out going into the city you could go Powis, Herdsman, then Jersey streets and onto the Fremantle line PSP.

Thanks. Looks like some nice quiet streets that I can still keep the average pace up on.

The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.
