Beechboro to Balcatta - Reid PSP?

Hi guys,

After googling, driving past, riding up that way a little, I can not find the best way to Balcatta from Beechboro. I know there's been some work on the Reid highway PSP.

Does anyone use this route? And can I have a sneak peak at your Strava route?

Reid hwy has a shoulder that is a bike lane the entire length. You should just be able to jump on and ride from beechboro to balcatta without any hassle.

The shoulder along Reid hwy is quite good. If you want more PSP then when you get to Alexandra Drive get on the PSP on the south side which takes you to Northwood Ave where it crosses to the North Side of Reid Hwy. This then goes to Mirrabooka Ave where it finishes and you have to go back on the Hwy again.

The only bad bit of Reid Highway westbound is approaching Tonkin Highway the shoulder disappears and you have to share the lane with left turning traffic which often turns at speed.

I will be using the route at night so was hoping for more PSP but it is what it is. I'll put some more lights on my back.
