Convex mirrors under Canning bridge

Noticed them for the first time on Sunday. Please tell me they are new :?

I'm pretty sure I remember one on the Raffles side.

Yes, new.

They popped up between 24th and 30th of October ( I have pics from under the west end of the bridge for those two dates).

thanks, the amount of grafitti scratched into one of them had me thinking they may be been up a while

Loads of head on collisions happen under that bridge. Hopefully the mirrors reduce these.

I must have been through 8 times (4 in either direction) since the 30th and I've not noticed them yet, although I did nearly have a head on. Maybe I should be paying more attention

Checked again this morning, I assume the mirrors are on the west side of the bride, not the freeway side where the path goes under, although that would be a good spot for some too

good improvment, same with Alfred Cove bike path
