That would be the area that I have seen them.

Yeah north of the new section there is a bit that veers away from the road to go under a bridge (when heading northbound). They put new light poles in as part of the works. At the southern end of the fence there are two red and white striped metal bollards and it is there I have seen him 3 times.

I saw the infamous fox! 7.30 this morning heading south just after Reid Hwy tunnel. Main Roads clearly haven't caught it !

Can you report it to Main Roads. Nick Phillips / Shane Collins are the two names I have been given.

Worzel, is this you?

by the by, if anyone was savvy enough to set up a video shoot of a cyclist (chicken suit optional) getting chased, it could possibly go viral on utube...the local tv news may also be interested and remunerate!

He's still there! I must admit, if he runs away from me like he did this morning, rather than at me like he did originally I am glad he is still alive.

He is a cheeky bugger- walked onto the path this morning and laid down in the middle of the path- I pulled up about 2m away and he didn't move until another cyclist came past. Pointed the Fly6 at him (of course the one day I don't have the front camera is when it is needed  )

Looks healthy and in good nick.

And elusive too. I was told that MRWA were setting traps on Monday and for the next 3 nights, so he's made it half way through.

He was around this morning, chewing on some moron's discarded tube. Unfortunately another rider went past and scared him off. Though not sure if playing tug of war with a fox would have been a believable excuse for being late to work :)

There is a sign on the shared path at Lake Monger indicating fox trapping currently in progress

Did a google search and found this interesting video in the same general location from 2010:

If anyone was interested there were two foxes caught at Lake Monger according to the person I chatted to the other morning.
