North Fremantle cycling community workshop - Tuesday 14th

Postby Trucker Jord » Thu Apr 09, 2015 5:15 pm

Hi All,
Just got wind that Fremantle council have organised a community consultation workshop for next Tuesday night.
Come along, have a whine about how 19 years after the Perth Bicycle Network was released there is still not a PSP between Grant st and Freo.
The 1996 report > http://www.transport.wa.gov.au/mediaFil ... P_PBNP.pdf

Saying that, the council are actually pretty proactive about cycling and interested in getting a PSP bridge over Tydeman rd. They just need (a lot of) community support.

Follow the link to do the survey and RSVP for the community workshop:

North Fremantle bike study
Complete our online survey and have your say on Fremantle's cycling network and how it can be improved to make cycling safer and more attractive to riders of all ages and confidence levels.
The survey is part of a City-engaged study by sustainable transport consultants, Cardno. Hard copies of the survey are also available at local bicycle shops, Fremantle Town Hall and various businesses in North Fremantle.

Community consultation workshop
The City and Cardno will be hosting a workshop on Tuesday 14 April, 7.00 pm at the North Fremantle Community Centre.
To RSVP or make a suggestion on what you would like to see included in the workshop contact the City on 08 9432 9999.

To RSVP you need to ask for Dwight when phoning. Might save you some time whilst they try and work out who to put the call through to
