Biggest range of cycling clothes in Perth?
Postby worzel » Wed May 06, 2015 5:23 pm
All of the LBS / city ones I have been in have a very small range of cycling clothes. I use Wiggle a lot for parts etc but I don't like buying clothes online as stuff invariably does not fit despite checking size charts. So are there any emporiums with massive ranges of clothes in Perth, preferably NOR?

particular brand you're chasing?
ive noticed different shops will stock different brands, no ones gonna stock everything.
ie TBE has a good range, wembley cycles, cyclemania.

Not fussed about brand; looking for a yellow shower jacket to wear over a fleece in winter / stuff in my back for the ride home in Spring / Autumn in possibly large or XL depending on size/fit that won't break the bank. Also seeking a yellow /orange hi-vis backpack cover for an XS backpack.

There is a new TBE in Hay Street (Near Milligan street- v close to Just Ride It & Giant) which opened recently and mainly has accessories & clothing, spares etc rather than bikes ? It might be worth a look - I popped in on work lunchbreak a couple of days ago & it looked pretty good (but I wasn't looking for anything specific so not sure about jackets/backpack covers etc)

Try Reid Cycles in Balcatta. They have several jackets.
I popped into the new bike stores on Hay St last week, looking for tubes (gone through 6 in 3 weeks) and amazed how much they charge (min. $14 each). I want to support you guys but, sorry, I pay less than $10 at LBS outside the CBD.
