Cycliq CEO talks at IE Aust tonight

Postby Thoglette » Tue Aug 04, 2015 1:13 pm

At IE Austin West Perth
Andrew Hagen, CEO of Cycliq - high school dropout, mature age student and double major bachelor degree holder, spent much of his professional career as a property developer in land subdivisions.

Working for companies such as Mirvac and Peet full time, while his entrepreneurial spirit had him working mornings and nights on his own property development business with business partner, Kingsley Fiegert. It was this person, who Andrew met at a high school certificate college, went onto partner with Andrew in that property development business.

Outline of Presentation

Cycliq started off three years ago from a missile projected from a moving car onto an unsuspecting lone cyclists. Today, with over $2.3m worth of sales in it’s first 15 months of trading, Cycliq is the global brand for an integrated camera and light for cyclists. Sold into more than 30 countries with some of the most iconic and memorable videos in cycling, Fly6 and its newly launched sister device, Fly12 are set to change the way motorists behave around cyclists, making the roads a safer place for everyone.
Today, Andrew feels lucky to have Kingsley as his business partner in Cycliq, who took the missile from the motorist that led to the concept of Fly6, a HD camera and tail light cycling accessory. The three year journey has taken Andrew from the heights of becoming great friends with the likes of Phil Liggett, to looking forward to credit card company extension of credit letters in the mail just so he could draw down more money to see the business through another month and back again.

The presentation is of the Cycliq journey form March 2012 through to today.
