Thanks - all sorts of stuff listed. Will be hard to get good prices as a new seller but doesn't look suspicious. Sad back story if true.nezumi wrote:Found this on another forum, figured I'd link you lot. Way too difficult to send to Melbourne:

Fortunately for me in Perth it is 'local pickup only'.
Unfortunately for me I'd need more than my cargobike to pick it all up if I win the bid.
And there's got to be a few bikeshops and gold diggers out there watching this one so winning won't be cheap. If you have nothing better to do next Saturday maybe watch the bids snipe in during the last minutes, there should be fireworks.

If you need someone to pick it up for you Just4tehhalibut, let me know, (assuming he is actually in Perth and not some outlying suburb in the wrong direction). I work at Karrakatta so not that far away from Perth.just4tehhalibut wrote:Fortunately for me in Perth it is 'local pickup only'.

Looks a bit suss to me, brand new gear with a convenient story. Maybe I'm just too cynical.

I'd buy it. Freight to Sydney would be a few hundred though, if they were even keen on doing it.

Would someone trying to sell stuff they'd flog have all that detailed info of the various tools? Unless they're a bike shop employee who ripped off the boss!jlh wrote:Looks a bit suss to me, brand new gear with a convenient story. Maybe I'm just too cynical.

I hope it wasn't one of you miscreants that outbid me for the XL-FDD drum dyno he was also selling. That woulda been just the thing to Pimp my Postie cargo bike.

You mean this?
That's a serious amount of cat food to spend for an antiquated dyno hub with drum brake.
