Greenwood sand trap
Postby worzel » Thu Mar 17, 2016 11:02 am
Some idiot has decided to dig up one of the entry/exit points to the PSP just north of Greenwood station. Not only that, there are actually three entry points and they have dug up all three at the same time meaning the only option is to get off and carry your bike through a sand trap for 20m. No cyclist dismount signs, no detours, nothing. And in bike week too.

Is it utility works? These organisations are the worst, they don't care at all, and Local Governments have limited control over them.
If it's other works, report to City of Joondalup straight away and ask for the Traffic Management Plan.

Complaint submitted. I never know whether it is MRWA or the local shire/city you are supposed to report this stuff to.wellington_street wrote:If it's other works, report to City of Joondalup straight away and ask for the Traffic Management Plan.

The press release says the works will be done by the City of Joondalup so I would start with them.

You'd a think a supposed cycling project might be done with some thought put into cycling safety but no... Hopefully your complaint reaches the right ears and the contractors get a kick in the bum.worzel wrote:Might well be, this is the western end of that route.wellington_street wrote:I hope it's not related to this...
