Ellenbrook Crash

Postby moosterbounce » Mon Apr 25, 2016 8:23 pm

Just saw on 9 news a crash out at Ellenbrook involving a cyclist (silver cervelo). Apparently cyclist was hit and car continued on to a roundabout, where it hit 3 other cars. Cyclist is currently in hospital with head injuries - I hope they make a swift recovery. Driver is also in hospital - police are investigating if a medical episode was the cause.

Sad but fingers crossed all are OK.

That's my suburb but I don't know any other cyclists (except the bike shop owner). Hope they recover quickly.

I know him, he sometimes rides with the group from bike force Ellenbrook on a Saturday.
He has a broken elbow and skin missing from lots of places, but all CT scans are good.

Glad it wasn't more serious.
