Storms this morning

Anyone go cycling this morning? It was awesome, although I wish I had a bike with thicker tyres. Rain and strong wings, phew it was great fun. Firewall booties kept the feet dry for a mere 25mins :*-)

I saw so much debris around while driving, it was enough to make me nervous. I don't think I would have wanted to be riding anywhere on the road at all. Too many fallen branches.

But it sounds like at least it wasn't that bad where you were riding. :)

I spotted one intrepid chap cycling along the PSP from the Narrows to Canning Bridge.

With river being blown across the path to the freeway he was looking very wet. Also, battling hard with the wind.

haha. I had planned to do the freeway, but when I saw Riverside Dr I knew it would be off limits. The waves were splashing all over the path....Whilst it was pretty mad going out during all that wind and rain I wanted to test out my new Castelli Nanoflex Pro bib tights. I can state with confidence that they work very well http://www.castelli-cycling.com/Product ... 451553316P
