TONIGHT - Beware anyone going for a late night run, and be careful tomorrow morning, anyone heading this path as the area may be disturbed, and it's always possible that the work will be incomplete -
From Main Roads:
East Perth Shared Path Closed
(Claisebrook Footbridge to East Pde)
Adjacent to Graham Farmer Freeway/East Parade
2 June 2016 – 9pm to 1am only
A section of the Graham Farmer Freeway (north side) pedestrian and cyclist path will be closed for approximately four hours from Claisebrook pedestrian footbridge to East Parade.
The closure is required to replace a large, overhead sign damaged in recent storms. It is not safe to keep the path open while the works are undertaken.
A detour will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists via Claisebrook Footbridge, Kensington St and East Parade in East Perth.
Please refer to the attached map for closure and detour information. Detour signage will be in place to guide pedestrians and cyclists through the area.
Access to and from Claisebrook train station and footbridge will remain open at all times.

This looks a lot better organised than last time! Hopefully the signage will have improved also.
