I'm planning a ride from Collie to Joondalup in a few months, got the route sorted to Perth but after that it's not so clear where the path goes
Any ideas or other routes would would be helpful

1. The Joondalup-Stirling: Perth bike map gives the direct route up along the Mitchell Freeway. It winds a bit but just follow the commuters from 5pm onwards
2. More interesting would be a ride from Perth to Fremantle then up the coast. Potentially much slower, particularly if you stop for coffee a few times on the way. Riding on West Coast Hwy between south City Beach and Trigg is not recommended as there's no bike lane & 70kph. There's a bike lane south of there and West Coast "Drive" is 50kph
3. Catch the train.
