Perth groups looking for mid/end of ride coffee location?

Postby GloucesterPark » Wed Oct 19, 2016 3:41 pm

Most riders will have experienced at some time being discouraged from using a cafe as a mid or end of ride stop for a coffee.

Some cafes just aren't keen on lcyra, bikes and sweat. Mainly because they think it discourages their regulars.

For those of you in Perth Gloucester Park (trotting venue) in East Perth is thinking about opening its cafe on a Saturday morning exclusively for cyclists.

There is plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, easy central location, car parking should it be a start of ride location and reasonably secure.

Before kicking this off are there any groups out there riding on Saturdays or perhaps event organisers looking for a cafe venue for rides?

Let us know we are really keen to get something happening. email project@gloucesterpark.com.au

Thanks for letting the community know. The coffee will need to be good!

I'm sure I could get my next Mandurah to Perth group ride to stop there rather than crowded South Perth for a try.

I believe the coffee is good.....
Espresso di Manfredi. A medium-roast blend of high quality Arabicas from South America, and fine Robustas from Asia. Classico is a nod to the classic Italian espresso blend, with Arabicas providing balanced fruit and chocolate sweetness and Robustas adding body, strength and complexity. A nuanced coffee with elegant acidity and a long, lingering finish. And yes barista's are qualified
