Wanted to wish everyone a happy Christmas and most importantly for everyone to stay safe on the roads over the break.
For everyone having a crack at the festive 500 (Strava) or planning some big rides, don't forget to eat and drink (water and be prepared given the hot weather.
Lastly, if you see someone in difficulty, maybe offer them to sit on (your wheel, not bike) or check they have sufficient water and /or food. Having a mechanical, stop and lend them a hand, tube or whatever.
I know this last one doesn't need to be said as I know every time I'm fixing a flat probably 50% or passing cyclists slow down and check I'm ok.
Stay Safe & Happy Riding
