What ever it was Mr Petetr Thompon said it was quoted in a "me too" letter by Ron Davidson of Alvery today (7th Jan)
Something about common sense
(Oh, Aldo from Quantum Cycles got quoted regarding cycle fork/frame failures and testing - appears he can crack test bits)
Anyone see the letter in the West Thursday ? (5 Jan 2017)

Cyclists "have a right to use the road" but to defend that right is "arrogant"?
Am I reading that wrong?

Thanks mount_street,
Wixxy & Cycleops, Peter has decided not to advise us of how many poor, defenceless drivers have been unfairly blamed for running over cyclists who didn't have lights or reflectors after dark.
I'm guessing that's because there were none.
Then again cows, small children, fallen trees, dogs and sea containers don't have to have lights and reflectors. But we'd still consider someone an idiot if they drove into any of these after dark.

Ahh, the "I am a cyclist..." line. Always sounds a bit "I'm not a racist, but..." to me.
This kind?
Or this kind?
This kind?
Or this kind?
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
