mid-road islands removed on Morrison Rd, Midland.

There's road works on Morrison Rd, Midland - all of the traffic-separating islands have been removed.

I wonder at the reason - the City was going to look at it after one of their "Share the roads" rubbish trucks nearly took me out as they squeezed past an island with me on the other side once.

It's a good thing regardless - More room in the middle will make it safer for cars to overtake cyclists there.
