Gold Coast -> Sydney Tour (1st tour, would like some advice)

Hello! We are planning our first ever tour from Gold Coast to Sydney. We aren't too sure of how to start planning our route, so we thought to seek some ready-made routes from more experienced tourers. We would like to avoid the highway at all cost, and ride along somewhat densely populated towns. As we are camping along the way, a route that has camping grounds/tourist parks would be preferable.

Any route planning guide/resources would also be welcome.
