Southern Tasmanian Cycling Club are proud to announce the Baskerville Grand Prix on 19 October at the Baskerville Raceway

The Old Woolstore, Shotz Sports Nutrition and Pennicott Wilderness Journeys are partnering with the STCC providing community awareness for exercise, health and overall bicycle safety.

The Baskerville Grand Prix is expected to host riders plus family and members. With spectators able to sit in their cars and view the entire circuit. We expect the quality of racing to be top notch and to attract the best riders in Southern Tasmania.

The schedule includes a one lap time trial, a kermesse style race and a sprint eliminator. The track is a tight and demanding 2.01 kilometers in length that includes a fast straight, and cambered corner.

Pre-registration will starts at 830am on the day of the Grand Prix. The cost to enter all 3 events is $25 to enter the kermesse and one lap time trial $20 and $15 for just the Sprint Eliminator. Entrants who enter all 3 races are eligible for prizes.

Prize money includes $750 across all grades and Masters as well as prize packs from Shotz Sports Nutrition, a 3 hour wilderness cruise onboard Pennicott Wilderness Journeys for 2 adults on board either Bruny Island Cruises or Tasman Island Cruises, valued at $250. And 1 x night in a Studio Apartment including Full Buffet Breakfasts for two guests valued at up to $350+ from the Old Woolstore.
