The stays are steel and the front triangle is aluminium tubes bonded and swaged into the lugs. One of those bikes that flies under the radar a bit.

Racket holder... that is not such a silly idea actually :)
But then, why connect the derailleur to the cable and thus the gear lever?

Close, but not the same frame. Paint job is, but the Repco has a braze on FD mount, different lugs and fork crown, as well as different bottom bracket shell.

Just a matter of using a crackle medium.

i.e. http://www.porterspaints.com/paints/spe ... kle-medium" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Must have been 'bring your yellow Peugeot to work day'. I hadn't seen a straight bladed Peugeot before. Also hadn't heard of an E12.

It was a great night for beardos on the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale tonight. A curly stay Hetchins running 9 or 10 speed campy with cantos and then locked up not far from that was a beautiful Bauer Werke ki auheim, i didn't get a photo but it had this head badge (sorry for the massive image) Imageand had some very nice features that put me in mind of the French constructers. Oh and my Huntsman rando too :D

Is that a 16 spoke Deep V, and a fairly low count rear, on what look to be Shimano hubs on the Trek? That's cool. I have an 18/24 Deep V wheelset laced to 6500 hubs, and I've ever only seen that one low spoke set.
