Hi, another Gold Coast newbie here (first post). Just had a kerbside collection in my area and about 500 vehicles driving around looking for stuff - who says the economy is in trouble eh?
Anyway, I did rescue a few bikes before the scrap metal merchants could grab them. Currently working on an Apollo IV, a Malvern Star Sprint 12, a Repco Olympic 12 and another Apollo that's been repainted twice and hard to ID - it has a handmade serial number TEIS1230. Anyone know what year that would be?
Will post some pics once I am able. Cheers.

I would be willing to bet the green one is a Speedwell, they had a few different versions of the S headbadge but i'm not 100% sure that's one.
I can't remember seeing lugs like the ones on the black bike, very unusual.

I have a Healing with pointy headlugs exactly like that but with the embossed 'H" in the headtube instead of a star, I'll get a picture put up ASAPNutty1948 wrote:Heres another unidentified Australian ? brand with ONE STAR (5 Points)

Also on Gold coast. restoring a 1931 Dutch Gazelle currently, interested in pre 1933 bikes, that date is slowly sliding further back.
