Are those actually Nervex lugs? Don't look quite right to me.
Well spotted, no they are not Nervex IMHO, probably one of the many oriental copies thereof given the dropouts etc.
However, they are still nice lugs and that seems a pretty good buy for the price.

Got the branding right

Not much known about the wheels but the Shawable Dunno tyres must be worth at least the extra $100 asked for.

Cheers,

The opposite of old junk, 1947 Rocket.

Very nice bit of gear, Sturmey-Archer AW with a quadrant shifter, VEW front hub and wood rims. Not the Rocket of Brisbane going off the decals on the head and seat tubes.

I reckon that IS the rocket of Brisbane but gone south and serviced by L Anderson? In waverly rd East Malvern ( just round the corner from where I grew up but don't recall a bike shop there).

Went for plenty too.

Ah but on that one the "Seat tube length is 495 cm". Don't come across that size every day.

Gone. What was there? *EDIT* Nevermind, forgot about Google cache: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... NCSR&noj=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hate how Gumtree effectively deletes the listing once the item is sold.

edit: thought they were new ads. Another thing I hate about gumtree, duplicate your ad to keep it up the top, and now businesses are getting in on it.
